Michael Palmer

Michael Palmer

Emerging Leaders Intern

Hi! My name is Michael Palmer. I’ve completed a degree in Mathematics, but in defiance of a desk job, stayed in school to pursue Film. I also have minors in Theatre and French. I’m passionate about direct community engagement and in facilitating conversations through my art. As an ArtsForce intern, I look forward to teaching the kind of networking skills that have helped me professionally, and to show students how many ways there are to get funding for their passion projects. In my free time you can usually find me outdoors, or at other art spaces around town. If you’re putting on a show, let me know, and I’ll do my best to be there!

Danielle Horlacher

Danielle Horlacher

Emerging Leaders Intern

Hello! I’m Danielle Horlacher and I am currently working toward my BFA with an emphasis in Illustration. As a creator and consumer of art, I am interested in how art can support and promote sustainability. This is something I consider critically before creating and purchasing art. Outside of school, I am a hiker, biker, rock climber, and insect enthusiast. If you see me around campus or at the climbing gym, feel free to say hello! I am so excited to join the ArtsForce team this year and will be looking forward to helping fellow students succeed in their goals.

Hi! I am Ava Crane, a Film and Media Arts student with minors in Spanish and Arts Technology.  I am passionate about thoughtfulness and critical thinking throughout all mediums of art. I am excited to, as an ArtsForce intern, help fellow fine arts students network, gain professional skills, and bridge the gap between graduation and a career in the arts.

Mors Smith

Mors Smith

Emerging Leaders Intern

Hello! I’m Mors Smith. I’m majoring in Studio Art with Ceramics emphasis, and Gender Studies. As an artist and transgender person, I love exploring the intersections between fine art and gender. In my art I strive to initiate conversations about gender and the systems we have built around it. As an ArtsForce intern, I work to help build a community of success for emerging fine artists through events such as our career treks, and the annual networking event. Along with events, maintaining our online content through our canvas page, and various articles on the U’s Finer Points Blog. I look forward to what we can accomplish this year!

Ali Fuller

Ali Fuller

Emerging Leaders Intern

Hello! My name is Alexandria (Ali) Fuller and I’m a premedical student majoring in Studio Arts with an emphasis in Painting and Drawing. As a student in both the arts and sciences, I am interested in the intersection between the two and how an education in Fine Arts can extend to other realms of knowledge and success. I am excited to be involved with ArtsForce this year! I hope that through Artsforce I can provide information and networking opportunities that help my fellow students pursue their interests and creativity in the arts while learning how those interests can be translated to skills for future success in the arts and beyond.
