The wait is over! “Protectress: Act II” will be performed on 11/22 in The Voice Box at the University of Utah. This modernization of the Medusa myth features gorgons, goddesses, and fates with themes of victim shaming, forgiveness, and redemption. Recommended for ages 14+ and includes mentions of rape and suicide. Music by School of Music's Assistant Professor (Composition & Music Theory) Jessica Rudman. Libretto by Kendra Preston Leonard.
