Hello, my name is Inez Akumutima! I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Illustration, and I aim to one day work as a visual development artist or background painter in the animation industry. Like many, I enrolled here unaware of the sheer number of ways Art can show up as a career, in our communities, and in our daily lives. As an Artforce intern I hope to shine a light on the various resources and pathways available to all who, like me, didn't know they existed. This year I am eager to help students grow a meaningful and supportive network that will assist with their career goals.

Hi! I’m Florencia Hernandez, a Graphic Design major with a minor in Photography at the University of Utah. As a first-generation Latina student, I see design as a way to tell meaningful stories—ones that reflect culture, memory, and the beauty in everyday life. I’m especially drawn to photographing small details that are often overlooked, capturing quiet moments that hold emotional depth. Let’s connect—I'm always inspired by kind souls, good ideas, and the magic that happens when creativity brings people together.
Sadie Olsen

Hello, I’m Sadie Olsen. This is my second year at Arts Force. I’m a music composition major, and my primary instrument is violin. I have been playing for 12 years, and I’ve been writing music for 4 years. I particularly enjoy writing vocal music. My plans for the future are to write and conduct opera. Outside of music I love to sew and read. As an Arts Force intern I’m excited to connect with students throughout the college with different backgrounds and help with their careers. I’m excited to see what we will accomplish this year.
Elias Kempt

Hello! My name is Elias Kempt, and I am double majoring in Illustration and Gender Studies with a minor in Cultural Anthropology. I enjoy creating 2D art in many mediums as well as hiking, rock climbing, paddleboarding, and other outdoor activities. As an ArtsForce intern, I am excited to provide fellow art students with valuable career resources and opportunities. I am particularly looking forward to organizing and attending career-related field trips this year.

Hey there! My name is Miriam, but I typically go by Mia. Since attending the U, I’ve fallen in love with my major in Illustration and my minor in Games. In the past year or so, I’ve branched out to other facets of art such as 3D modeling, UI design, and drumming. I feel satiated in having the opportunity to connect with like-minded creatives to pursue a career in what I’m passionate about, and hope to inspire other students to do the same!

Hi! My name is Brianna Cipriano, and I am currently pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design. I have had a lifelong interest in all art disciplines, and I aim to collaborate with others in diverse fields to work towards joint or individual goals. Preparation for life after college is daunting for some, so as an ArtsForce intern, I hope to help my peers become more confident in their areas of study and the future careers they wish to pursue. Through communication, action, and artistic creation, any goal is achievable.
