School of Music’s Assistant Professor and Clarinet & Woodwind Area Head Laura Grantier will be traveling with 15+ students to Incheon, South Korea to perform at ClarinetFest® 2026 from 7/7–11. The festival is the largest clarinet conference in the world, and over 2,000 clarinetists will attend this year. The School of Music's proposal was one of 50 accepted out of the 200 received from nearly 50 countries across six continents.

- “Variations on a Korean Folk Song” – Composed John Barnes Chance, Arranged by U DMA student Darrin Thiriot
- “Golden” – Composed by HUNTR/X, EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, REI AMI & KPop Demon Hunters Cast, Arranged by U students Ethan Robbins and Austin Adams
- “Dusk” – Composed by Steven Bryant
- “Delta”– Quadrahedron Composed by U student Zane Jensen
The students will also be performing at the University of Utah's Asia campus and possibly in Seoul. Jason Missal (Director of Bands), Jeffrey Allardyce (saxophone), Peyden Shelton (trumpet), Brian Sproul (Marching Utes), and Kim Councill (Director of U School of Music) are also slated to travel with the group in the hopes of featuring trumpet and saxophone solos with the choir.
