Studying the arts at the University of Utah is exciting, challenging and will prepare you for a rewarding career in the arts. To learn more about the College of Fine Arts and its six academic units, read below.

Each year, the College awards degrees to hundreds of artists and scholars. Candidates earn Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees with a wide variety of emphases in each discipline. Degree programs may include a focus in performance work, innovations in visual art, production behind the scenes, interdisciplinary projects, and/or education. Many of the undergraduate programs, in collaboration with the College of Education, may lead to licensure to teach at the K-12 levels. At the graduate level, candidates take an active role in shaping the focus and content of their studies.
