Assoc. Professor Lisa Chaufty and slate of events dedicated to celebrating the new knowledge generated by our faculty members.

- Performance of Latinx Heritage Celebration at 5:30 followed by moderated a post-show talk back (a plática) moderated by School of Dance Assistant Professor Kiri Avelar with the choreographers. Reception in the lobby to celebrate and honor the "Half a Century in Motion: Honoring Chicanx Dance, Art, and Activism" exhibition going from 9/15-10/15 in the Marriott Center for Dance.
Friday, Sept. 26
- Research Week Exhibition in McKay Music Library open 8am–8pm
- Biennial Art & Art History Faculty Show, "Relative Truths" opening night reception at UMFA 6-9pm
- Department of Theatre opens "The Cherry Orchard" by Anton Chekhov, version by Pam Gems, directed by Alexandra Harbold in the Babcock Theatre.
