Blake S. Bratcher is a student affairs professional, joining the College of Fine Arts in the role of Development Specialist in the Office of Development. After relocating from Fayetteville, AR in 2016, Blake served as a Graduate Assistant in the A. Ray Olpin University Union Administration Office where he became enamored with the University of Utah community. During his time as Graduate Assistant, Blake came to appreciate the processes and relationships that were involved within the development space, propelling him to explore this interest further.
Blake previously worked as a Student Assistant in his undergrad’s Department of English & World Languages, as well as a Law Clerk with Clark & Murdoch, P.A. Blake earned his Bachelor’s degree in English & Pre-Law Studies from Arkansas Tech University in 2015 and his Master of Education in Educational Leadership & Policy with a Student Affairs Emphasis from the University of Utah. While completing his Master’s degree, Blake had the opportunity to seek out internships with the Associated Students of the University of Utah & Utah System of Higher Education, as well as serve as a Development Intern in the Vice President’s Office for Institutional Advancement.
When not on campus, Blake enjoys travel, reading, cooking, and being a dog dad to his pups Everest and Mowgli with his partner Kyle in Salt Lake City.
