The Finer Points

At the University of Utah College of Fine Arts, students learn from some of the top faculty in the country. But that is not all; each semester, each academic unit brings to campus world-renowned artists who offer master classes, give public lectures, screen films, host discussions, and ultimately broaden the breadth and depth of exploration into all areas of study. During the past year alone, these artists were brought to campus to share their knowledge and expertise with us.

All My Relations Collective is an art, theater, film, and design collective committed to making new work that uplifts the interconnectedness of all living things past, present, and future. They shed the idea of prescriptive process. They weave together all parts of their artistic practices they’ve developed in the concentric circles they work in; social justice, community organizing, reservations, Broadway theaters, universities, and museums. All the story elements are interdependent. As a collective, they are caretakers of each story, invested in its life and health. They show that same commitment to each other, personally and artistically. As an ensemble, they find their artistic home in each other. ■
