University of North Carolina Greensboro's School of Music has named School of Music Director Kim Councill their UNCG 2024–25 Distinguished Alumna. Councill ('95 BM, '97 MM) began her undergraduate years as a proud North Carolina Teaching Fellow and has since spent 29 years as a music educator and music teacher educator.
