The Department of Theatre's Associate Professor Sydney Cheek-O’Donnell, Neurology & Family Medicine's Adjunct Assistant Professor Karly Pippitt, and Center for Health Ethics, Arts, and Humanities & Theatre's Associate Professor Gretchen Case were featured in an article by Salt Lake Tribune pushing for the U to launch a bachelor’s degree in medical humanities. Students who want to go to into the medical field would study the classics of writing, the arts, philosophy and ethics — all with the intention of making them better, more holistic health care providers.
