Skip the chaos of Black Friday and head straight to the U campus instead! The Department of Art & Art History (Gittins Gallery) and Utah Museum of Fine Arts (UMFA) are having their annual holiday sales. Both galleries are within a five minute walking distance of each other, so it’s basically one destination for all of your gifts.

With every item you add to your basket, you’ll be contributing to good causes and supporting local artists. Plus, the department and museum offer very affordable pricing for the overall value of their one-of-a-kind pieces. So, get those lists ready because doors open soon!

Each club within the Department of Art & Art History sponsors a table, and proceeds made from their purchases go directly to their club to benefit the students. For example, club funds help provide for future travel, art supplies, or other club-related events such as bringing in visiting artists — like when the Sculpture club used their proceeds to help fund their trip to La Biennale di Venezia (The International Art Exhibition in Venice, Italy).

All art is handcrafted by department students, so hurry — these unique pieces won’t be available for long!
