Arts Advocates

Dean John W. Scheib, PhD Dean John W. Scheib, PhD Sarah Knight Photography

There exists a group of people who, through their incredible passion and generosity, are fueling the next generation of creative professionals – and you are part of that group. You are advocating for the inclusion of arts into the very fabric of our society, you are protecting the long-cherished practices and spaces where we can create and explore, and you are fueling the makers, the creative researchers and the arts educators.

You are already an advocate for arts and we are grateful for your loyalty. Today, I’m asking you take the next step, to join other like-minded individuals and be recognized as a College of Fine Arts: Arts Advocate.

Become an Arts Advocate

Arts Advocates are alumni, parents and friends contributing $1,000 or more annually to the College of Fine Arts. Arts Advocates empower students to find their voices, fuel their passions, ignite the future and positively impact our community through the arts.

Through their leadership level support, Arts Advocates impact all areas of the college and make opportunities possible for students such as:

  • Scholarships
  • Artist residencies
  • Collaborations with professional artists
  • International competitions

I hope you’ll consider my invitation to become an Arts Advocate level donor. And please know that every gift of every size is an investment in creativity, enlightenment and progress of our students.

Thank you for your support and dedication.

Sincerely,

John W. Scheib
Associate Vice President for the Arts
Dean, College of Fine Arts

PS: Monthly donors giving $84 or more will be recognized as an Arts Advocate. If you are interested in setting up a monthly gift please contact Devon Barnes at 801-581-4244.
